Moderate Learning Difficulty, SEN Support

Alisha has found it difficult to positively engage in large aspects of a mainstream curriculum/setting. This has led to some instances of an FTE being issued with Alisha currently supported through a reduced timetable.

A key reason for the referral is Alisha’s interest in the learning experiences that Cirque are able to offer Alisha. Alisha’s voice has been a key factor with Alisha very keen to start a placement at Cirque.

Alisha, and Grandparent believe that the chance to complete industry recogised qualifications provides a great opportunity for Alisha, to both increase her engagement in school and support Alisha Post-16/future employment.

Provision request summary: Initial placement of 2-day per week until the end of KS3, following review 2-day placement per week during KS4.
